GP Survey Results 2024 - Ranked No.1

The Cottage Surgery is the highest ranked surgery in Leicestershire and ranked 124 out of 6,418 practices across England, with 98% of our patients having an overall good experience. The survey is sent out to more than two million people across the UK and covers everything from, the trust patients have in their doctor, to the attitude of reception staff and how easy it is to get an appointment.

Following this, our achievement has been recognised by the Chief Medical Officer of the ICB (Integrated Care Board), along with the other Top Ten performing practices within Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland Top 10 Performing Practices Certificate 2024

Healthy Workplace Accreditation

A brand new programme to help businesses and organisations in Leicestershire become heathier places to work has been launched.

The Healthy Workplaces Leicestershire programme from Leicestershire County Council’s Public Health team has been designed to help places of work and local organisations achieve the ‘Healthy Workplaces Leicestershire Accreditation,’ with Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service becoming one of the first organisations to benefit from the programme.

Businesses and organisations who sign up can benefit from the Workplace Health Needs Assessment, Health MOT’s for staff, training for managers and other support that is available. The programme ensures a fully bespoke and tailored programme for each workforce.

The Cottage Surgery has recently signed up for this programme and so far it has been a great experience for management, clinical and non-clinical staff to feedback on the workplace as a whole. We are currently at level 'Engaged' and as we work along side the Healthy Workplace team, we hope to achieve the 'Accredited' level.
